POETRY BOOTCAMP

Saturday, March 26: Morning and Afternoon Classes.

Whether your writing is in tip-top shape or needs some shaping up, get a shot of creative adrenalin in this exercise-driven poetry class. Spend a morning, an afternoon or the ENTIRE day with poetry drill-master, Danika Dinsmore, who will put you through a hardcore "pen to paper" writing workout that will leave you wanting more. Danika is one of a few internationally distinguished Master Teachers -masters of their craft--who are being featured at Ojai WordFest. Cost: $99/3-hr session. (Only $49 when you use promo code POET)

STREET BOOK FAIR

Saturday March 19, 10am-4pm.

Poets will read from the main stage between noon and 4PM. In addition there will be poetry readings and signings happening at the individual poets' tables. (Downtown Ojai on Matilija Street) FREE

POETRY NIGHT

Monday March 21, 6:30-9pm.

Tree Bernstein is hosting an open mic and poetry reading at Theater 150. (Downtown Ojai on Matilija Street) Open Mic sign up at 6:15, starts at 6:30, featured poets at 7PM. FREE (donations accepted)

Join established and widely published New England Poet, Laura Jehn Menides, and her daughter, award winning Los Angeles Slam poet Georgia Menides at Ojai's first ever East VS West Open Mic.
